Guided Walk with MemoMap in Prague 7

May 19, 2026 | 4:00 PM | Meeting point at Mama Shelter hotel

Join us for a walk through Prague 7, during which you will learn about the MemoMap Prague application, created by the Masaryk Institute and Archives of the CAS (MÚA) as a service of the Czech node of the European Holocaust Research Infrastructure (EHRI-CZ).

The MemoMap project allows studying the history of the Holocaust through the space of the city. The interactive map of Prague from the Protectorate era displays the addresses of more than 40,000 Holocaust victims, 1,700 cases of violations of anti-Jewish regulations, significant sites associated with Jewish history and persecution, and places where Jews were not allowed during the war. MemoMap follows the MemoGIS Prague application, which it not only complements in terms of content, but fundamentally expands its functionality and design. Try the application yourself on your mobile phone or tablet with an internet connection (there is no need to install anything in advance, the web application is available online at the website memomap.cz).

Daniela Bartáková will guide you. The walk lasts 60 minutes, capacity is limited. The event takes place in cooperation with the Center for Memory and Dialogue Bubny.

Registration via Open House Prague.
