Call for Applications: EHRI-ERIC Transnational Workshop | Documentation as Resistance: Methodologies for Reconstructing Early Postwar Transnational Jewish Knowledge Networks

A call for applications has been published for a two-day EHRI-ERIC transnational seminar entitled ‘Documentation as Resistance: Methodologies for Reconstructing Early Postwar Transnational Jewish Knowledge Networks’, which will take place in London at the end of 2026.

Date: 1–2 December 2026.

Venue: The Wiener Holocaust Library, London, United Kingdom.

Deadline to Apply: 24 August 2026.

Contributions will explore how these knowledge networks may be reconstructed and analysed through innovative scholarly, archival and digital methodologies, treating documentation both as historical evidence but also as acts of resistance and forms of knowledge production. The aim is to develop methods for researching transnational Holocaust documentation networks using new technologies and methods and facilitate transnational knowledge exchange.
